Shooting at Jack in the Box in Bend leaves 1 person injured, 1 person in custody

A man was taken to St. Charles in Bend after being shot several times by another person in the area of the drive-through window at the Jack in the Box on 3rd street in Bend. According to Bend Police, the shooting occurred just after 9; 30 last night and involved two 39-year-old men, one from the Medford area and the other being a transient. When Bend Police arrived on the scene, the one person who had the gun was taken into custody for questioning and the other to the hospital. Bend Police, the Oregon State Police Crime Lab, and Deschutes County District Attorney’s Office were all involved in the investigation.
